About TLMT
Attending a Conference
If I’m registered for the conference, will I automatically get my CLE credits?

No. You must sign out at the Registration/CLE desk before departing the conference.

What do I need in order to sign up for CLE?

You need to have your Bar number for all states in which you would receive credit.

What if I cannot attend the whole conference? Can I receive partial credit?

Yes. When you sign out at the end of your last day, you will indicate the number of hours/days that you actually attended.

Do I need to send my Certificate of Attendance to the state bar(s) or will Trial Lawyers of Mass Torts report my attendance to them?

Each individual attorney will need to file their own CLE credits.

What makes TLMT different from other legal conferences?

What sets TLMT apart is who is in the room. We bring federal and state judges together with senior plaintiff and defense attorneys, and each group is a big part of why the others attend. Our programming is built for experienced practitioners, and our settings give people time to keep the conversation going after sessions end.

Is TLMT a nonprofit?

Yes. TLMT is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit. Payments to TLMT are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions.

What happens when people disagree?

Sessions are designed for candid exchange, and thoughtful disagreement is part of that. At TLMT, collegiality means functional professional respect: direct engagement, comfort with challenge, and a shared commitment to growth.

Collegiality: a professional relationship characterized by mutual respect, cooperation, and support among colleagues.

What does registration include, and what does it cost?

One answer that spells out everything in one place: CLE sessions, receptions and hosted events, meals, and activities.

Where can I find out who’s speaking?

Speakers are listed on each conference’s event page.
